A DIY zine for enthusiasts of stones, drones & noise 🌿🧌🪨

Welcome to Issue #7 of Boulderdash Zine. This is the first release since the Summer Solstice 2025. This issue returns its focus to a balance between experimental sound practices and stones. It leans heavily into drones and noise after a period where the emphasis had drifted more heavily toward the “stone” theme. As always, sound here is treated as material rather than genre.

Adeline Pelle’s illustrations appear throughout the issue, on the front cover, back cover, and middle page spread, acting as visual anchors and interruptions to writing. Alongside these are contributions exploring deep listening, sound art, and biosonification, as well as poetry, prints, and a substantial selection of new releases. Issue #7 is an offering shaped by listening, patience, and a renewed commitment to the spaces where sound unsettles, accumulates, and persists between people, nature, technology, and beyond.
